non-linear range step

Hello.

Is there any chance I can set a non linear range step?

I need to set a cost calculator for a server; for example user can ask for different RAM values in this range: 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, 6GB, 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, 24GB. The step is not linear nor is the cost: double the RAM doesn’t necessarily imply double the cost.

Any solution to that?
